I’d like to express my appreciation to Sandra O’Grady and members of the Novelist’s Circle group, who helped me polish 'Night’s Blood' until I felt it was worthy of being published.
Of course, no writer is ever 100% satisfied with the end result, and we’d all like to just change one more sentence, add a something here, or trim a bit there. But eventually you have to step away and set it free.
The first three books in the series are written and form the first story arc. I am currently working on book four, which will take the characters in a whole new direction and introduce some new players as well. My readers are especially keen to see more of Bane and Antoine, and this new story arc will certainly deliver that.
My next step along this career path will be in April when I attend a writer’s Master Class by the incomparable Fiona McIntosh. I am thrilled and terrified in equal measure by this, but look forward to coming away from it with renewed confidence and commitment to this amazing craft.

Our books are our babies; they come from deep within us and carry with them part of our soul. They deserve our very best. Good luck with your writing, and never give up on it or yourself.
