I trust you enjoyed the festive season, and no doubt you have all kinds of new year's resolutions.
Well, the Novelist's Circle members are revved up and ready to write. We have big plans for a successful year and we're kicking it off with our traditional New Year's Dinner. (Any excuse for food and chatting, right?)
Our group statistics for 2016
- We averaged 9 attendees at each meeting.
- Critiqued 3 full manuscripts.
- 5 new members joined us, and we said goodbye to a few too.
Sandy Vaile is looking forward to the release of her latest romantic suspense novel, "Combatting Fear", in February.
Helmine has offered her completed manuscript for critiquing. She also had a short story called "Reunited" published in the Fledglings anthology by Birdcatcher Books.
Poppy will be editing her Young Adult manuscript for submission to Allen and Unwin.
Susan's non-fiction book (published by Boolarong Press in 2014, titled “Not for Glory: 100 years of women doctors in war”) has been made into a play called “Hallowed Ground: Women doctors at war”.
Sonya's manuscript was requested by Black Ink Publishing. Fingers crossed!
And other members continue to produce words regularly, and to submit their word. A brilliant effort from all!
